With two simple steps, you’ll be able to hear that warm dial tone and begin making calls without the need for a reliable internet connection:
- Connect the Base to Power: Plug the landline base into a power outlet.
- Attach Your Phone to the Base: Use the phone cord cable to connect your landline phone to the base.
Community Phone's landline base includes a backup battery that ensures the service continues to operate during power outages.
The battery can keep the phone operational for up to 12 hours, providing a reliable communication channel in emergencies. Additionally, our power cord can easily be plugged into other emergency power sources, such as portable generators or car inverters, to extend functionality during prolonged outages.
