Germain Breau, Member in Community Phone, Profiled by Harvard Crimson
Germaine M. Carbury-Breau, a member of Community Phone since our founding, has owned and operated a business, Cambridge Violin, longer than any other business owner in Harvard Square. In doing so, she has worked with the famous Stradivarius violins and sold Sergey Brin, founder of Google, his first violin. She is a masterful violin tuner and sat down with the Crimson’s Matt Hoisch to discuss her craft (and what it was like to purchase property in Harvard Square almost 40 years ago!).
